The construction of the new Scandic Hotel as part of the EMPORIO development of the UIR in Hamburg’s Neustadt area is to be certified according to the sustainability criteria set by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). atmosgrad° has been brought on board in the pilot phase of the new hotel to oversee the certification process.

For several years already, Swedish hotel operator Scandic has been working to make its hotels environmentally friendly and to operate in a sustainable way. Together with investor Union Investment Real Estate, the declared goal is to create a hotel building with exemplary standards of sustainability.
